On quitting. Or not.

dont quitThis quote appeared on my Facebook news-feed today.  It’s an oldie but a goodie and one of the many quotes and poems over the years which was honored by tape on my wall at some point.

Seeing this again made my day.

When have you been glad that you stuck it out?

  1. Dear Wry,
Thanks for signing up to follow my blog. I had seen that poem before, but it’s always uplifting. My father had dementia the last 3 years of his life. Mom was the one who suffered as his illness progressed. My sister in-law was an only child and had to deal with the struggles of aging parents as the battled cancer. So, I have some idea of what you’re dealing with. It is quite a heavy burden.

I’ll do my best to give you something to smile about each time you visit my blog. I know it’s not much, but it’s what God gave me to offer. – Russell

  2. Lovely post and yes, sometimes a person feels like quitting but that’s not an option. I guess we just go on and find something every day too keep you hanging on. Posts like this and quotes like the one you found on your FB. It’s good. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  3. Today, your blog answered my prayers for a clear and concise response from the universe. Do I go on? Guess the answer is YES! Thanks.
